The NZ Iris Society initially contacted Medlicott Design to request an overview of their existing website, including design, responsiveness and importantly being able to access the website and perform edits, updates, add new information, pages, news items and more.

The end result was they asked us to build a new website but importantly transfer all existing information onto the new platform. While pages and text were relatively simple, photos that had been previously uploaded were huge and not optimised at all, so a lot of time was spent cutting these photos up and reassembling them for better loading times and more friendly display to visitors.

Everyone seemed quite happy with the outcome and now we are in the process of teaching the members who administer the website how to do things. I’m glad we use WordPress as it makes the teaching and learning much more intuitive to non-cody people!
